1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using CannaBias, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.

2. Use of Service

CannaBias is an independent review platform for UK prescribed medical cannabis patients. By using our service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account
• Not use the service for any illegal purposes
• Respect other users and the community guidelines

3. User Content

CannaBias lets patients and clinics share their own content, like reviews, ratings, photos and comments (“User Content”). This content is created by users, not by CannaBias, so each person is responsible for what they post.

When you post User Content, you promise that it is honest, respectful, lawful, and that you have the right to share it, for example you are not copying someone else's text or photos without permission.

You keep ownership of your content, but you give us permission to show it on our platform and to use it in anonymised or combined form to help improve services and product safety for patients.

We do not rewrite or edit what you say in your reviews, but we do moderate content to make sure it follows our Community Guidelines and UK law. This means we may hide or remove User Content if it breaks our rules, someone's rights (such as privacy or copyright), regulator requirements, or where we believe it could harm patients or public safety. If you see something that feels unsafe, abusive or against our rules, please report it so our team can review it.

4. Content guidelines

Reviews must be based on personal experience with legally prescribed products. We do not allow pricing information, medical claims, treatment recommendations, or content that violates UK regulations.

• Reviews must be your own honest patient experience and must not be copied, scripted, or posted on behalf of someone else.
• Do not describe products as cures, guarantees, or suitable for other patients.
• Do not include private information about clinicians, clinics, other patients, or prescription documents.
• When sharing your review outside CannaBias, keep the review text accurate and include any required disclosure.

5. Incentives and ambassadors

CannaBias may reward verified patient review contributions with platform points, prize draw entry, or similar community rewards. These rewards are for verified contribution only. They are never conditional on giving a positive review, a high rating, a specific product outcome, or sharing a review externally.

Ambassador status is a community/reach status. It does not replace account roles and does not require ambassadors to make product claims. Ambassadors may receive tools that make it easier to share their own CannaBias content, but they must clearly disclose their CannaBias ambassador relationship when sharing publicly where that relationship is relevant.

Share/export tools may add disclosure wording automatically. CannaBias does not rewrite review text for sharing, and any CannaBias-owned reposting or selective boosting of product reviews may be subject to separate compliance review.

6. Medical Disclaimer

CannaBias does not provide medical advice. All content is for informational purposes only and should not be considered a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the service.
